Hour Media Group acquires Pasadena Magazine
TROY, MI (Dec. 21, 2017) – Hour Media Group announces the acquisition of Pasadena Magazine, the bi-monthly city magazine of record for the diverse, historically rich and culturally vibrant region that includes Pasadena, San Marino, Arcadia and the San Gabriel Valley.
With its recent acquisition, Hour Media Group and its related entities now publish more than 132 proprietary magazines and custom titles across the country.
“We are delighted to add this great brand to our roster of fine California-based publications including Los Angeles Magazine, Orange Coast, Sacramento Magazine, and Sierra Living,” said Hour Media President, John Balardo. “With the resources of Hour Media, we look forward to expanding Pasadena Magazine’s already significant presence in the marketplace.”
Balardo has also announced that Christopher Schulz, Publisher of Orange Coast, will also serve as Publisher of Pasadena Magazine. Cuyler Gibbons will remain with the magazine as Editor-in-Chief.
